Originally written and recorded for what would become Onryō II in early 2021. Splatterpunk Gore Machine is about an undead, half human, half cyborg hybrid called “Gore Machine”. created to bring forth extreme violence and mayhem to the world. Many lyrical themes come from Splatterpunk, Cyberpunk & Body horror films of the late 80's and early 90s. movies such as Tetsuo: The Iron Man, Judge Dredd, AKIRA, & Tetsuo II: The Body Hammer.

We decided to release this song in celebration of our two year anniversary as a band which will be Oct 31st. And to celebrate our first run of shows this weekend.

Late 90's BM worship, but it's also a lil more than that. This album takes the best elements from the scene it's inspired by and mostly avoids the worst of it; the song-writing is well-written, it's performed with passion and fun, and the production is raw but isn't lo-fi. (i.e. it doesn't obfuscate and/or suckass). Tl;dr It's safe but high quality BM. Recommended. Rabbit
